Daven reads the Jewish calendar. On Rosh Chodesh the morning service carries Hallel and Musaf; on Chanukah, Al HaNissim; on a fast day, Aneinu; on motzei Shabbos, Atah Chonantanu and Havdalah. On a plain Tuesday, none of that appears. Occasion-only passages in every prayer — including bentching — appear only on their days.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app: open Apple's subscription settings (or Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone) and cancel there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

By default, Daven shows a rest screen on Shabbos and Yom Tov and returns after the configured end time. This is an adjustable setting in the app; follow your own practice.

No. It is a live, on-device camera preview only. Nothing is recorded, stored, or uploaded — ever.

Settings → Account → Delete synced account. This permanently removes the account and all synced notes, bookmarks, progress, and preferences. It does not cancel an Apple subscription — manage that in your Apple ID settings.

As little as possible. No ads, no data sale, no cross-app tracking. Prayer text and personal notes are excluded from anonymous analytics.
